Latinos United In Action Center (LUAC) was born out of caring,
frustration, a desire for real change, and a philosophy based on the
belief that “education creates the future.” For that reason we
feel that the concept of “continuous quality improvement” currently
being applied in corporate planning is also appropriate in
educational planning.
Latinos United In Action Center (LUAC) is a non-profit educational
organization committed to the integration, encouragement and support
of the academic learning and daily lives of the youth in our
inner-city communities helping make a post-secondary education more
accessible.
The
center offers educational services to enhance the depth and scope of
the regular school curriculum. Complimentary resources and
networking opportunities will foster the exchange of
classroom-tested ideas and best practices for the enhancement of
skills to which the student has already been exposed.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to improve our students educational
opportunities by giving them a strong foundation in the areas of
reading, mathematics, writing, test taking skills, study habits and
career planning. The Center fosters student responsibility for
learning, therefore, engaging students in the process of learning
and living.
Latinos United In
Action is:

international network of people, programs, and products dedicated to
